Most Epic Use of Photo Booth Props - Our Top 5 Picks

The event booth has some pretty fun and funky props, but we've gotta give major credit to our event boothers for their epic use of them! Check out our top picks -- and think of ways to top these prop-tastic photos the next time you hop in the event booth!

5. The first and probably last time the event booth will ever see a sword swallower! We never did find that prop again...

4. Madonna's cousin? Likely. Those viking hats have never been the same, but kudos to our event boother for his creativity!

3. Rock that bling, girl! Love that this bride found a fun way to show off her new rocks with our oh-so-popular magnifying glasses.

2. Grrr...this event boother donned one of our boas as this feisty lion's mane. That's one sharp lion!

1. Cheers! Epic use of our beer mug hat - bottoms up!

The Event Booth Gives Back

Being a locally-owned photo booth company, the event booth prides itself on giving back to the community. Over the past few months, the event booth has been spotted at several charity events!

Melissa and Jeff
In April, the event booth lent our services to The Wedding Pink, an annual, heartfelt wedding giveaway package presented to a couple whose lives have been recently touched by breast cancer. This year's couple, Jeff and Melissa, have overcome lots of life's curveballs. In 2009, Melissa was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer; she endured a double mastectomy, followed by six rounds of T.A.C. chemotherapy. Her husband Jeff never left her side, and Melissa can now boast that she is cancer free.

It was truly an honor to be a part of this incredible day! The event booth was a huge hit, and laughter poured from the booth the entire night. We look forward to serving The Wedding Pink in any future weddings.

During May, the event booth was found on the scene at Denver's largest derby! The Derby Party is much more than horses and cool drinks: the event was created to benefit the Sean "Ranch" Lough Memorial Scholarship. Sean was a remarkable individual who touched many people with his spirit, aspirations, humor and kindness.

Derby-goers rocked it in the event booth!
This scholarship in Sean's name is given to an individual that exemplifies the qualities he had, including a high GPA, economic need, and most of all, a hearty personality and love for life. The 4-year, full-ride scholarship to Colorado State University, Sean's alma mater, is awarded to a deserving student each year at the Dery Party.

What a BLAST we had at the Derby Party! Gorgeous hats, derby suits and lots of big hearts surrounded the event booth. Plan on buying tickets to next year's Derby, it's one of Denver's biggest and best events - plus, the event booth will be there. ;)

The event booth loves to give back-it's what makes the world go 'round, right? If you know of a deserving event that could benefit from Colorado's largest photo booth, contact us at info@theeventbooth.com.

Six Questions to Ask Before Choosing a Photo Booth for Your Big Day

Photo booth rentals are all the rage at weddings - but what do you need to know before signing a contract? Ask potential vendors the following six questions to avoid any unwanted surprises on your big day.

6. Strip-tastic: For as long as we can remember, we've had our fun in photo booths and took home the strips of photos that printed. What a bummer to find out a photo booth doesn't even print actual strips. Verify with the rental company that you're getting the classic look.

5. Ask for measurements: The size of the photo booth plays a large factor in determining where it can best be placed for maximum guest enjoyment. Also, if you're looking for a booth that can fit groups (bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc.), opt for a booth that can fit at least 10 people at a time (like the event booth!).

4. Double prints: Photo strip guest books make for an amazing keepsake from the night. But if your company doesn't provide double prints, your guests won't have a keepsake of their own. Some companies charge extra for double prints or force you to buy a guest book before providing them. Forget that. Go with the event booth - we'll print as many strips as you'd like and we won't charge an arm and a leg for them.

3. Request a photo of the booth: Your wedding is one of the most important events of your life. The last thing you want is a rocket-shaped booth or something that resembles a piece of abstract art to detract from the elegance of your wedding. The event booth is sleek, black and clean - we keep it simple.

2. Set-up and tear-down time: Make sure you're getting what you paid for. Other vendors include their set-up time as part of your rental package. Double check to verify that a 4-hour rental package means four hours of photo booth time.

1. Hidden Fees: Trip fees, props, custom logos, DVDs, private web galleries...you get the picture. Don't settle for a company that charges extra fees for these items. Maximize your photo booth experience by going with the event booth - where you get all these extras at no additional charge.

Top Five Reasons Photo Booths are a Must-Have at Your Wedding Reception

It's no surprise photo booths have quickly become one of the most popular and timeless must-haves at weddings. Here we countdown the top five reasons why having a photo booth at your wedding will keep you smiling long after you walk down the aisle.

5. It Captures Everyone - Not only are photo booths fun, they add an entire new layer of photography to your wedding album -- that is, the chance to have a photo of every single guest at your wedding. Photo booths are a great complement to your photographer and videographer, and you don't have to rely on cheap disposable cameras to capture some of the most candid moments of your night!

4. Entertainment for Guests -  A photo booth adds a mini party to any event and can make a ho-hum space exciting! Once people step inside the photo booth, you'll hear everyone from your reserved Uncle Bill to your tiara-wearing, 6-year-old cousin having a blast. Guests these days are looking for that extra pizazz at a wedding and photo booths deliver, every. Single. Time.

3. Better than a Guest Book - Savvy brides are opting to ditch the traditional guest book for something much more dynamic and personal - a photo scrapbook. After your guests step out of the booth, they'll get a strip to keep for themselves and a strip to place in your photo scrapbook. There's enough space for them to write a short note, and it'll be nostalgic to remember exactly what everyone was like on your wedding day.

2. Instant Party Favor - Why are photo booths so awesome? They serve multiple purposes, including providing a stellar party favor that all of your guests will love and actually hold on to for years after you say, 'I do.'. No more chalky mints or heart-shaped, potpourri-filled bags - simply a unique wedding favor that puts a fun twist on thanking your guests.

1. Everyone Loves a Photo Booth - I'm betting that even if this guy hopped in a photo booth, his personality would glow, and you'd turn out with a great memory from one of the best days of your life. Photo booths have been around longer than most of our grandparents - they're timeless and we've enjoyed them since we were kids. You can't go wrong with adding this unique element to your wedding!
